LaBelle has a kind of accepting overview that I can’t help admiring. Importantly, it has been my interest to engage the politics of sound culture: Sound Culture and Everyday Life. This is not so much due to the theories that the author draws upon as it is his occasional inability to communicate them and his tendency to follow connections to almost breaking point.
